The kind and fair rule of King Janak has begun, and the Golden Age has come.
Through the Guru's Word the mind is at peace; the mind that could never be satisfied is satisfied.
Guru Nanak laid the foundation of Truth, and he is one with the True Guru.
In the house of Guru Ram Das, Guru Arjun has come as the form of the Endless One.
Through the Guru's Word, the mind that could never be satisfied finally rests, and it feels like a golden age has begun.
Janak raaj is the fair rule of King Janak, a wise king of old Indian stories, and the Golden Age is the time of truth in the old count of ages. Both are pictures here of what the Guru's presence brings. Apteej pateenaa means the unsatisfied one is satisfied: the end of endless wanting.
Sach neev is the foundation of Truth that Guru Nanak laid. Everything after is built on it.
