By great good fortune, the mind is lifted up, and the Word comes to live in the heart.
The mind, like a jewel, is content, because the Guru has planted the Naam deep inside.
The One no one can reach and no eye can see, the Highest of all, is shown through the True Guru.
In the house of Guru Ram Das, Guru Arjun has come as the very form of the Fearless One.
When the Guru plants the Naam in the heart, the mind, like a jewel, becomes content.
Man maanak santhokhi-a-o pictures the mind as a jewel that has stopped wanting more. The Guru's gift is planted to stay (gur naam daririaa-ya-o), a settled thing, not a passing feeling. Anbha-o names the Fearless One, and Guru Arjun is praised as the form that fearless presence takes.
