In plain words

The sweet nectar of the Naam is in the True Guru; the Guru speaks the nectar and helps others speak it too.

Through the Guru's teaching, the Naam is pure; remember the pure Naam.

The nectar-Word is the very heart of things; it comes to live in the mind of one who faces the Guru.

The heart, like a lotus, blossoms open, and one's light melts into the great Light.

Nanak says: the One unites with the True Guru those who have that destiny written on their foreheads from the beginning.

When the heart-lotus opens, one's light melts into the great Light.
The deeper layer

The nectar of the Naam lives in the True Guru, and taking it in opens the heart like a lotus.

Amrit naam is the sweet nectar of the Naam; nirmal, pure; tat, the very heart of things. Hirdai kamal pargaasi-aa: the heart-lotus blossoms, folded shut like a flower at night and then opening. Jotee jot milaa-ay: one's light melts into the Light, like a candle flame joining the daylight.

Dhur mastak bhaag, the destiny written on the forehead, is an old picture for what is given from the beginning.
