remembering Him again and again, keep Him clasped to your heart.
The One is the most real thing there is, so hold the One close to your heart.
So-ee sat sat hai so-ay — the One is sat, True, and the One's glory is True too. True here means the most real thing of all, the thing that lasts.
Then comes what to do. Simar simar rakh kanth paro-ay — remember the One again and again, and keep the One close to your heart, like a necklace you never take off.
Think of hugging your favorite person tight. While you are holding on, other things matter less. It works the same way here. Hold the most real thing close, and the things that are not real lose their pull on you.
