In plain words

Whoever sees the wonder of the One's making with their eyes, hears the Guru's words with their ears, and speaks the True Name with their mouth,

gains the full treasure of honor. Their mind rests on the One, easily, all by itself.

Turn your eyes, ears, and voice toward the One, and a quiet wealth grows inside you.
The deeper layer

Point your eyes, your ears and your mouth toward the One.

Akhee kudrat means with the eyes, see the wonder of creation. Kannee banee means with the ears, listen closely to the sacred words, the Guru's Bani. Mukh aakhan sach naam means with the mouth, say the True Name.

Think of a house with three windows, all opened toward the sunrise. Light pours in from every side.

The gift that comes is pat kaa Dhan, the full wealth of honor. Then comes sahj Dhi-aan, attention that rests on the One all by itself. Sahj means natural ease. It is the calm of a heart that has stopped fighting itself. You do not have to force it. It simply comes.

A Question to Sit With

What is something wonderful you could look at closely, or listen to closely, today?
