Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
In every single heart the One is quietly hidden. The One makes all things and watches over all things, and shows openly in the humble saints who turn toward the Guru.
Those who chant "Har, Har" are soaked through with the One's love. Their minds are drenched in the cool nectar-water of the Naam.
The One is hidden in every heart, and shows clearly in those who turn to the Guru. Ghat ghat gupat — in each heart the One is gupat, hidden. The One makes everything and watches over it all. In the gurmukh, the one turned toward the Guru, the One becomes pargat, plain to see.
Saying the Name, har har karahi, leaves people rang bheenay, soaked through with love. Their minds are drenched in har jal amrit, the One's nectar-water. This is a spring song, and in spring it is the rain that turns everything green.
Think of running through a lawn sprinkler on a hot day. You come out dripping and laughing. Saying the Name is how you get wet through with love.
What is something that fills you up completely when you spend time with it?
