Basant, Third Mehl:
ਤਿਨ੍ਹ੍ਹ ਬਸੰਤੁ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥
tinH basant jo har gun gaa-ay.
They alone are in the spring season, who sing the Glorious Praises of the Lord.
ਪੂਰੈ ਭਾਗਿ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰਾਇ ॥੧॥
poorai bhaag har bhagat karaa-ay. ||1||
They come to worship the Lord with devotion, through their perfect destiny. ||1||

Only those who sing the praises of the One are living in spring.
By perfect good fortune, the One brings them to loving worship.
The ones who feel the spring are the ones who sing.
Those who sing the One's praises are the ones living in spring.
Tinh basant jo har gun gaa-ay: spring belongs to those who sing the One's praises. Poorai bhaag: by perfect good fortune. Har bhagat karaa-ay: the One brings them to loving devotion, as a gift.
