O Nanak, peace fills their minds and bodies forever, O Siblings of Destiny; they are united with the Shabad. ||4||1||18||12||18||30||

In plain words

The One does everything and has everything done, brothers and sisters: the One who makes every living thing green.

Nanak says: peace lives in their minds and bodies forever, brothers and sisters, when they are joined with the Word.

The same One that greens the world can fill you with lasting peace.
The deeper layer

The One does everything, and makes everything green.

Aap karaa-ay karay aap — the One does it, and has it done. This is Hukam, the One's will, the way everything unfolds. And look at what it does: jin hari-aa kee-aa sabh ko-ay — it makes everyone and everything bloom green. Spring itself is the One at work. Think of a whole park turning green in one week of April. Nobody paints each leaf. It happens from the inside.

The shabad ends on lasting peace. Naanak man tan sukh sad vasai — peace lives in mind and body forever. That peace belongs to those joined to the Sabad, the Word.

A Question to Sit With

Where do you see the world bursting out green around you?
