In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

The Naam of the One is a jewel, hidden away in a small room of the palace inside the fortress of your body.

When you meet the True Guru, you search and find it, and your little light melts into the great Light.

The greatest treasure is already inside you, waiting to be found.
The deeper layer

The Naam is a jewel already hidden inside you, and the Guru helps you find it.

Raam naam ratan kothrhee garh mandar ayk lukaanee: the Naam of the One is a jewel, hidden in one small room of the garh mandar, the fortress-palace of the body. Satgur milai ta khojee-ai mil jotee jot samaanee: meet the True Guru, and you search and find it, and your jot, your light, merges with the great Light. Think of a candle carried out into the sunshine. Its little flame and the daylight are one light. The small self was never apart from the One.

A Question to Sit With

If there were a treasure hidden somewhere in your own home, where would you start looking?
