Behind everything that happens is one quiet source.
The One is the power behind everything that happens, and everything you have comes from the One.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Mayray pareetam kaaran karan jog — my Beloved, You are able to do everything and to cause everything. Kaaran is the cause, and karan is the doing.
Ha-o paava-o tum tay sagal thok — I receive all things from You. Think of all the taps in a house. There are many taps, and one water tank on the roof fills them all.
