Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Your servant is busy serving at Your feet, O First Being, endless and shining.

Your Naam is what saves everyone.

Nanak says: I have found this treasure.

The Naam that rescues everyone can become your own treasure.
The deeper layer

Serve the One with your whole self, and you find a treasure: the Naam, which saves everyone.

sayvak laago charan sayv — the servant is busy serving at the One's feet. That is a humble way of saying, "I want to help You in every way."

The One is aad purakh aprampar dayv — the First Being, endless and shining, there before every beginning. sagal uDhaaran tayro naam — Your Naam saves everyone. Think of a lighthouse that shines for every boat, big or small. The Naam is for all. naanak paa-i-o ih niDhaan — Nanak has found this niDhaan, this treasure.

A Question to Sit With

What is a treasure you would want to share with everyone, not keep to yourself?
