Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
O kind One, You know every heart.
Look on Your servant with Your glance of grace.
Nanak says: be kind and give me this gift, that I may live by chanting Your Naam.
Sometimes all you need is one kind look to feel seen.
The One knows every heart, and one glance of grace lets you live by the Naam.
antarjaamee — the One who knows every heart. nadar nihaal — the glance of grace; jap jeevai — living by the Naam, breath-like.
