Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Love the One, and all your wrongs are gone.

Meditate on the One, and no suffering touches you.

Meditate on the Lord of the World, and all darkness is wiped away.

Remember the One, and the round of being born again and again comes to an end.

Love lifts weights and turns on lights in the dark corners.
The deeper layer

Love for the One takes away wrongs, pain and darkness.

raam rang sabh ga-ay paap — love lifts the old weight. sabh mitay andhayr — all darkness dispelled; the cycle (fayr) comes to rest.

A Question to Sit With

What is a dark or heavy feeling that gets lighter when you feel loved?
