By His Grace, He has led me to meet the Holy men, the humble servants of the Lord. I remain continually imbued with the love of the Lord's Name. ||1||Pause||

In plain words

My mind has blossomed like a bud in spring, near the One's feet.

In kindness, the One led me to meet holy people, the One's humble servants. Every day I stay dyed in the love of the One's Name.

The mind can bloom like a plant in spring when it stays near what it loves.
The deeper layer

Near the One, your mind blossoms like a spring bud and takes on the color of the Naam.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Man ma-uli-o har charan sang: my mind has blossomed, close to the One's feet. Ma-uli-o is a spring word. It means budding, turning green, coming alive.

Kar kirpaa saaDhoo jan bhaytay: in kindness, the One led me to holy people, the One's humble servants. Nit raatou har naam rang: every day I stay dyed in the color of the Naam. Think of a white T-shirt dipped in bright dye. Once the color soaks in, it stays through every wash.

A Question to Sit With

What makes your mind feel like it is blooming — alive and full of color?
