When You Yourself let me wander, to whom can I go and complain?
When I meet the Guru, I will tell the Guru my pain, O my mother.
I let my faults go and practice what is good.
Colored by the Guru's Word, I melt into the True One.
Bring your troubles to the Guru and trade faults for goodness, little by little.
When you are lost, you bring your pain to the Guru, let your faults go, and practice what is good.
Aap bhulaae kis kaho jaae: when the One lets me wander, who else is there to complain to? Avgan chhodo gun kamaae: dropping faults and practicing virtues is a gradual practice. Gur sabdee raataa sach samaae: soaked in the Word, one merges into the Truth (sach).
A Question to Sit With
