The earth is Your great cooking pot; Your beings receive their portions only once. Destiny is Your gate-keeper. ||2||

In plain words

In every heart, in every home, the fire of life is Your army, and living rightly is the chief who keeps order.

The earth is Your great cooking pot. Your beings receive their portion only once, and destiny stands as Your gatekeeper.

The whole world is one household, warmed and fed by One.
The deeper layer

The whole world is one big household, and the One is running it.

The fire in every heart — the spark that keeps us alive — is the One's own army. Dharam, living rightly, is the chief who keeps order. The earth is a giant cooking pot. Every living being is fed its share from it. Bhaag, which means destiny or the way things unfold, stands guard at the gate.

Think of a big family kitchen at a festival. One pot, many plates, and everyone gets fed. The picture is of a single home running on one order, where everyone is provided for.

A Question to Sit With

If the whole earth is one kitchen feeding everyone, how would you want to share your portion?
