In plain words

The Supreme Being, greater than all the gods, took the form of the man-lion for the sake of a devotee.

Kabir says: no one can find the edge of the One.

The One saves devotees like Prahlaad, again and again.

A love that guards the ones who hold on cannot be measured.
The deeper layer

The One's love for those who love back cannot be measured. O-ay param purakh — the Supreme Being, greater than all the gods, took the form of narsingh, the man-lion. It was bhagat hayt, for the sake of a devotee, someone who loves the One with all their heart.

Kahi kabeer ko lakhai na paar — says Kabir, no one can find the edge of that love. Parahlaad uDhaaray anik baar — the One saved Prahlaad again and again.

Think of a parent who hears their small child call out at night. They come running, every single time. The One's love is like that.

A Question to Sit With

What does it feel like to know someone will show up for you again and again?
