When I speak and when I listen, it is Your Word, Your Bani.
You Yourself know all of Your wondrous play.
Even the words you speak are borrowed from something larger.
Even your speaking and your listening belong to the One.
Aakhan sunnaa tayree banee: speaking and hearing are the One's own Bani, the holy Word. The words you use are on loan. Sarab vidaanee is the wondrous play of everything, which only the One fully knows. Think of a song you hum without trying. It came from somewhere bigger than you.
