Everyone talks about going there.
But I do not even know where heaven is.
Everyone talks about going to heaven, and no one can say where it is.
This is the Rahao, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad, and it is a bold one. Baikunth means heaven, a paradise. Everyone talks about going there someday. Kabir says plainly that he does not even know where it is.
Think of friends talking about a secret beach that none of them has ever seen. Kabir is the one who asks, "Where is it, exactly?" The whole shabad moves heaven from somewhere far away to right here, in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One.
