Whoever comes to know the One within the mind, whatever they say comes true.
Kabir says: whoever holds the One's Light and sacred word steady in the mind crosses over to the far shore.
Know the One inside you and hold that Light steady, and you cross over.
man maDhay jaanai jay ko-ay — if someone knows the One within the mind. For that person, jo bolai so aapai ho-ay — what they say comes true. Their words and their life match, like a friend whose promises you can always count on. That is sach, truthful living.
Then jot mantar man asthir karai — they hold the Light and the sacred word steady in the mind. kahi kabeer so paraanee tarai — says Kabir, that person crosses over to the far shore.
