Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One looked at Namdev and smiled: "This one devotee lives in My heart."
The one who loves lives in the One's own heart.
The One smiles on a loving heart and holds it close.
Ayk bhagat mayray hirdai basai: this one devotee lives in My heart. Naamay daykh naraa-in hasai: Narayan, a name for the One, looks at Namdev and smiles.
This is the turning point of the story. The One is near, and keeps the one who loves inside the One's own heart.
