ਦੂਧੁ ਪੀਆਇ ਭਗਤੁ ਘਰਿ ਗਇਆ ॥
dooDh pee-aa-ay bhagat ghar ga-i-aa.
The Lord drank the milk, and the devotee returned home.
ਨਾਮੇ ਹਰਿ ਕਾ ਦਰਸਨੁ ਭਇਆ ॥੪॥੩॥
naamay har kaa darsan bha-i-aa. ||4||3||
Thus did Naam Dayv come to receive the Blessed Vision of the Lord's Darshan. ||4||3||

The One drank the milk, and the devotee went home.
And so Namdev received the Darshan, the blessed sight of the One.
Sincere love reaches the One directly, no matter who you are.
Love offered sincerely is received, and the One is seen.
Doodh pee-aa-ay bhagat ghar ga-i-aa: the One drank the milk, and the devotee went home. Naamay har kaa darsan bha-i-aa: Namdev had the darshan, the blessed sight, of the One.
Sincere love reaches the One directly, with no go-between needed.
