Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
As Raam keeps us, so we live, O brothers and sisters.
The glory of the One cannot be described at all.
You can rest in the flow of life, whatever it brings.
Live the way the One keeps you, and trust it.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Ji-o raam raakhai ti-o rahee-ai: as the One keeps us, so we live. This is the flow of existence, the Hukam: resting in whatever comes. Har kee mahimaa kichh kathan na jaa-ee: the One's glory is beyond words.
