ਸੋ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਦ ਹੀ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਭੁ ਆਕਾਰਾ ॥
so parabh saachaa sad hee saachaa saachaa sabh aakaaraa.
God is True, Forever True, and all His Creation is True.
ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਸੋਝੀ ਪਾਈ ਸਚਿ ਨਾਮਿ ਨਿਸਤਾਰਾ ॥੪॥੫॥੧੫॥
naanak satgur sojhee paa-ee sach naam nistaaraa. ||4||5||15||
O Nanak, the True Guru has given me this understanding; the True Name brings emancipation. ||4||5||15||

The One is True, forever True, and everything the One has made is true.
Nanak says: the True Guru gave me this understanding. The True Naam sets me free.
The One is true, and everything the One made is true too.
The One is true forever, and so is everything the One has made; the True Naam sets you free.
So prabh saachaa sad hee saachaa: the One is True, always True. Saachaa sabh aakaaraa: every shape the One has made is true too. The world is the One's own making, not a trick to run away from. Satgur sojhee paa-ee: the True Guru gives the understanding. Sach naam nistaaraa: the True Naam carries you across.
