By Guru's Grace, I have obtained the supreme status; the Lord is the Fulfiller of all desires. ||1||Pause||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

My mind rests on the Naam of the One, like leaning on something that will never give way.

By the Guru's grace, I have reached the highest state. The One fulfills every wish.

Lean your weight on the Name; it is the support that meets every longing.
The deeper layer

Lean on the Naam; by the Guru's grace it brings you to the highest place, and the One fulfills every wish.

This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the center of the shabad. Raam naam aadhaar: the Naam is the aadhaar, the support, something you can rest your whole weight on, like a sturdy wall. Gur parsaad param pad paa-i-aa: by the Guru's grace, the highest state. Sabh ichh pujaavanhaar: the One fulfills every wish.

A Question to Sit With

What is something steady you can lean on when you feel wobbly?
