In plain words

Someone wears many kinds of holy robes, yet the mind keeps wobbling. Deep inside are strong wanting, anger and pride.

Deep inside are a great thirst and a huge hunger, and they wander from door to door.

Holy clothes outside cannot quiet a storm inside.
The deeper layer

Robes on the outside can hide a storm inside, and that hunger keeps a person wandering.

Bhaykh karai bahut chit dolai: lots of robes, and a wobbling mind. Antar kaam krodh ahankaar: inside are kaam, strong wanting, krodh, anger, and ahankaar, pride. Antar tisaa bhookh: thirst and hunger inside, so the person goes dar baar, from door to door, like someone knocking at every house for food. This is aimed at empty show in any tradition, never at a faith.

A Question to Sit With

What helps calm you inside when you feel stormy, no matter how you look outside?
