By Guru's Grace, he finds the Perfect Lord; the egotistical pride of his mind is eradicated. ||3||

In plain words

When the Naam of the One, Har, Har, lives in a heart always, that person finds the One, the treasure of every good quality.

By the Guru's grace, they find the Perfect One, and the proud, puffed-up feeling in the mind is gone.

The treasure of every good quality was inside your heart the whole time.
The deeper layer

Keep the Naam in your heart always, and you find the One, the treasure of every good quality; by grace, pride falls away.

Har har naam ridai sad vasi-aa — the Name lives in the heart, always. Then you find gunee nidhaan. That means the treasure-house of good qualities, like kindness, patience and truth. It isn't bought from outside. It is found within.

How? Gur parsaadee — by the Guru's grace. Grace opens the heart the way a key opens a locked box.

And something falls away. Chookaa man abhimaan — the pride of the mind is gone. Abhimaan means thinking you are more important than others. It is not beaten in a fight. It melts quietly, like frost in the morning sun.

A Question to Sit With

What good quality can you feel growing quietly inside you?
