In plain words

Sanda and Marka, his teachers, went to his father, the king, and complained: "Prahlaad has gone wrong himself, and he is leading all the other pupils wrong too."

In the court of the cruel king, a plan was made against him. The Lord, Raghuraaya, is Prahlaad's protector.

Unkind plans made against the good-hearted cannot hold.
The deeper layer

A cruel court can make its plans, and the One still stands guard over the child who loves the Naam.

Sandaa markaa: Sanda and Marka, the boy's teachers, run to the king. Chaatrhay vigaarhay: he is spoiling the other pupils, they say. Dusat sabhaa: the court of the cruel king, where a plot is cooked up. Raakhaa ho-ay raghuraa-i-aa: Raghuraaya, King of the Raghus, a name for the One as the great King, becomes Prahlaad's protector.

A Question to Sit With

Have you seen kindness quietly outlast meanness?
