Nanak says: Your servant remembers the One, who is always present, right here.
The One fills water, earth, and sky, all the way through.
The One fills water, land and sky, and is always right here.
Jal thal mahee-al: the waters, the lands, the skies. Haajraa hajoor: the Ever-present, right here in front of you. Nanak, the servant, remembers the One who is never far away.
Think of the air. You cannot see it, and it is in every room you walk into.
