In plain words

There is only One. And the One is found by the True Guru's grace — a gift that is always here, waiting for an open heart.

The saint of the One is a living picture of the One, because the Naam of the One lives in that saint's heart.

Whoever has this blessing written on their forehead follows the Guru's teaching and holds the Naam of the One in their heart.

A heart soaked in the One becomes a little window onto the One.
The deeper layer

A person who carries the Naam in their heart becomes a living picture of the One.

Guru Ram Das begins with a bold idea. Har kaa sant har kee har moorat: a sant, a saintly person who loves the One, becomes a picture of the One. Why? Because the Naam lives in their heart.

Think of a window. You look through the glass and see the sky. A person full of the Naam is like that. Through them, you catch a glimpse of the One.

Mastak bhaag hovai jis likhi-aa means someone whose good fortune is written on their forehead. It is an old way of speaking of a blessing given to someone. Such a person follows the gurmat, the Guru's teaching. They keep the Naam in their heart all day long.
