In plain words

The fire of wanting has gone out, and all my hopes are filled. The darkness is gone, and the light shines out.

The unstruck sound of the Word, a music no one plays, is wondrous and amazing! Perfect is the grace of the perfect Guru.

Feeling full is what finally cools the fire of always wanting more.
The deeper layer

When wanting cools down, a light comes up inside.

Tapat bujhee pooran sabh aasaa means "the burning is put out, and all my hopes are filled." Tapat is burning, the heat of always wanting more. Aasaa means hopes.

Mitay andhayr bha-ay pargaasaa means "the darkness is gone, and light has come." Pargaas is light shining out. It is a sunrise picture, a good fit for Bhairao, a bright raag. A raag is a musical mood.

Then anhad sabad achraj bismaad: "the unstruck sound is wondrous." Anhad sabad means a sound no one plays. Think of the hush of a snowy morning, when the whole world seems to hum softly. That is the wordless music a still mind hears. And gur pooraa pooraa parsaad: all of it is the full grace of the perfect Guru.

A Question to Sit With
