In plain words

Everyone whose mind is filled with the One

has the One, Har, Har, as their support.

Nanak says: sing the One's praises with your mind and body.

In the Sangat, the One gives the gift of the Naam.

Bring your whole self, and your Sangat, to what you love.
The deeper layer

Sing the One's praises with your whole self, mind and body together.

Anyone whose mind is filled with the One has the One as tayk, their support. So Nanak says: sing with man tan, mind and body together. Not just your mouth, but all of you.

Where does the Naam come from? From the saadhsang, the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One. There the One gives the Naam as a gift. Think of learning to swim. You can read about it alone, but you learn best in the pool, with friends and a teacher around you. The Naam grows best in the Sangat.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you do better with your whole self, not just half of you?
