Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

You give wealth to those who have nothing.

Countless wrongs are taken away, and the mind becomes clean and pure.

Every wish of the heart comes true, and every task is done.

You give Your Naam to Your devotee.

The One specializes in filling empty hands.
The deeper layer

The One fills empty hands, washes the mind clean, and gives the Naam to those who love.

Nirdhan ka-o tum dayvhu dhanaa: You give wealth to the poor. Anik paap jaahi: countless wrongs are taken away, and the mind becomes nirmal, clean and clear. Sagal manorath: every wish of the heart is fulfilled.

The last gift is the greatest: bhagat apunay ka-o dayvhu naam, You give Your Naam to Your devotee. Think of a friend who notices you forgot your lunch and quietly shares theirs. The One gives like that, and the best gift of all is the Naam.

A Question to Sit With

When has someone lifted you up at a moment you had nothing to offer back?
