All day and all night, O my mind, sing the One's praises.
The peace you are looking for is closer than you think.
Every kind of peace is in the Naam, so sing it all day long.
This is the rahaa-o, the "pause" line, the centre of the shabad. Sarab sukhaa prabh tayro naa-o: all peace is in Your Naam. Aath pahar: all eight watches of the day, meaning around the clock. Mayray man gaa-o: sing, O my mind, gladly, the way you hum a song you love.
