Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Craving, anger and pride are gone.

Love and clinging to Maya, the pull of things, are broken.

Lean on the One's support, day and night.

The Supreme Lord has given this gift.

The things that grip us hardest can quietly come undone.
The deeper layer

Craving, anger and pride come undone when you lean on the One, and that leaning is itself a gift.

Binsay kaam krodh ahankaar: craving, anger and pride fade away. Maa-i-aa moh: clinging to Maya, the shiny pull of things. Tayk: support, something to lean on. Daat: a gift, given by the Supreme One.

A Question to Sit With

What is one thing that used to have a grip on you that has loosened over time?
