Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Blessed, blessed are the holy people, and blessed is the Naam of the One.

All day and all night, sing kirtan, the One's praises.

Blessed is the One's devotee, and blessed is the Creator.

Nanak says: I seek the shelter of the One, the first and endless Lord.

Gratitude turns an ordinary day into a blessed one.
The deeper layer

Holy people, the Naam, the devotee and the Creator are all blessed, so sing all day long.

Dhan dhan: blessed, blessed. Aath pahar keertan: singing kirtan around the clock, gladly. Karnaihaar: the Creator. Saran: shelter. Purakh apaar: the first, endless One.
