Nanak sings His Glorious Praises in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy. ||3||

In plain words

Wherever I look, there the One is.

Without the One, there is no one else at all. In the love of the Naam, the sea of the world is crossed. Nanak says: I sing the goodness of the One in the Sangat.

Look closely enough, and the One is everywhere.
The deeper layer

Wherever you look, there is only the One.

Jat kat paykha-o tat tat so-ay: wherever I look, there the One is.

Tis bin doojaa naahee ko-ay: without the One, there is no one else at all. This is the heart of Ik Onkar, the teaching that there is only One.

Think of the ocean and its waves. The waves look separate, but every one of them is the same ocean.

Saagar taree-ai naam kai rang: loving the Naam, we cross the ocean of the world. Gun gaavai naanak saadhsang: Nanak sings the One's goodness in the Sangat — people gathered together to remember the One.

A Question to Sit With

Where have you noticed the same pattern showing up in very different places?
