In plain words

The minds of those who love the One are full of the joy of Gobind, the Lord of the World.

They grow steady, and all their worry is gone. In a single moment, fear and doubt disappear. The Supreme One comes to live in their minds.

A settled heart lets worry quietly drain away.
The deeper layer

When the One comes to live in your mind, you grow steady and worry fades.

Bhagtaa man aanand gobind: the minds of the devoted are full of the One's joy. Asthit bha-ay binsee sabh chind: they become steady, and every worry ends. Bhai bharam binas ga-ay khin maahi: fear and doubt vanish in a moment. Paarbarahm vasi-aa man aa-ay: the Supreme One comes and makes a home in the mind.

Think of a spinning top. It wobbles and wobbles, then finds its center and spins smooth and still.

A Question to Sit With

What helps your mind feel steady when it's been spinning?
