Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The One's light shines in each and every heart.
Those who love the One live by chanting and remembering the One, the treasure of all goodness.
Service to the One is never wasted.
Deep inside your mind and body, keep the One in your thoughts.
The same light shines in every heart, and service to the One is never wasted.
Ghat ghat antar sagal pargaas: the light shines inside every heart, everyone's, with no one left out. Jap jap jeeveh bhagat guntaas: the devotees live by repeating the name of the guntaas, the treasure of goodness, the way a plant lives by sunlight.
Jaa kee sayv na birthee jaa-ay: serving the One never goes to waste. Man tan antar ayk dhi-aa-ay: inside mind and body, keep the One in your thoughts.
How might you treat people differently if you saw the same light in each one?
