Endless spiritual wisdom, endless meditations, endless chants, intense meditations and austere self-disciplines.

anik gunit Dhunit lalit anik Dhaar munee. ||1||
Countless virtues, musical notes and playful sports; countless silent sages enshrine Him in their hearts. ||1||

In plain words

Endless wisdom, endless meditations, endless chants, and endless hard disciplines.

Countless good qualities, melodies and joyful games; countless silent sages keep the One in their hearts.

There are countless honest ways to reach toward the same One.
The deeper layer

People reach toward the One in countless ways, and the One is held in countless hearts.

Anik gi-aan anik dhi-aan — endless kinds of gi-aan, wisdom, and endless dhi-aan, quiet focus. Anik jaap jaap taap — endless jaap, repeating a holy name, and taap, hard self-discipline. The verse treats every one of them with respect. They are all kinds of sincere reaching.

Anik gunit dhunit lalit — countless good qualities, lovely melodies, and joyful play. Anik dhaar munee — countless munee, quiet sages, hold the One in their hearts.

Think of a big city with thousands of roads. There are many paths, and they all lead toward the same center.
