In plain words

I feel so thankful for the people who lean on the One and hold the beautiful Name close.

A wise teacher planted that Name in me and carried me safely over waters that looked scary.

For everyone who remembers the One with a whole, undivided heart — hooray for them, I say.

Remembering brings a deep peace, because the One quietly takes away the aches we carry.

Cheer for the people who remember the One with a whole heart — and let that same peace take away your aches.
The deeper layer

The shabad is a hymn of blessing — it keeps saying "blessed, blessed" and "I am a sacrifice to." Balihaaree / vaariaa means "I would give myself for" — an expression of overflowing gratitude and love toward those who remember. Pauri 0 blesses the sat-sangat, the company that leans on the Name, and credits the Guru with two acts: planting the Name within, and ferrying across the "terrifying world-ocean of poison" (bhavjal bikham). The phrase jai jaikaar — "victory, victory!" — is a shout of celebration for the single-minded devotee. The verse's warmth is the point: the spiritual life here is not stern; it is a heart cheering for others who love what it loves.

A Question to Sit With

Who is someone whose goodness makes you want to cheer for them?
