In plain words

The One fills everything, everywhere — cool, calm, peaceful, and kind.

Near that, the heat of wanting, anger, endless craving, and pride quiets down and clears out.

Near a calm, kind presence, your own heat cools.
The deeper layer

The One is cool, calm and kind, and near that calm our inner fevers cool down.

Pooran poor rahi-o sampooran — the Perfect One fills everything completely. The One is seetal, cool, and peaceful and kind. Then the verse names four kinds of inner heat. Kaam is strong desire. KroDh is anger. Tarisnaa is craving that never stops. Ahakaaraa is pride. Near the One, all of these fade out.

Think of stepping from a hot street into a cool, shady room. You didn't fight the heat. You just came near the cool. Ego is a heat that cools down that way.

A Question to Sit With

Who or what cools you down just by being near?
