Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

The moment I see You, every ache turns and runs.

Never slip out of my sight — stay right here, living beside my soul.

The sight of someone you love can make troubles feel smaller at once.
The deeper layer

At the sight of the One, pains run away. darsan daykhat dokh nasay — pains fleeing at the sight (darshan) of the One. kabahu na hovhu darisat agochar — a tender plea that the One never become invisible; jee-a kai sang basay, dwelling right beside the soul. A shorter, song-like Chaupada.

A Question to Sit With

Whose face makes your worries feel a little lighter?
