Listen, my friends, and tell me how to meet Him. They say: let go of all your me-and-mine, and you will find the Beloved right inside the home of your own heart.
Then, full of delight, you can sing songs of joy and keep your thoughts on the One who is happiness itself. Nanak says, I came at last to the door, and there I found my Beloved.
What you are searching far and wide for may be waiting inside you.
sagro aha mitaavhu -- erase all ego (the me-and-mine), and the Beloved is found ghar hee, within one's own heart -- not far away at all. ras mangal gun gaavhu -- then the songs of joy begin. The whole search turns inward and ends at home.
