In plain words

Turned toward the Guru, the heart stays in love with the One, and the Name feels dear.

You see with it and speak with it, and keeping the One in mind brings a steady peace.

Nanak says: turned toward the Guru, a clear inner light comes on, and the fog of not-understanding lifts.

When the One is what you love, it colors everything you see and say.
The deeper layer

The second shalok of the three (Guru Amar Das). A quiet, glad portrait of the gurmukh -- the one whose whole seeing and speaking (vaykhan bolnaa) is colored by the Name. Har rang (the color/love of the One) is the raag's own brightness turned into a way of living. Timar agi-aan andhayr chukaa-i-aa -- the dark of not-yet-understanding cleared -- rhymes straight back to the lamp of the opening shalok. The whole feel is contentment, not struggle.

A Question to Sit With

What is something you love so much that it quietly shapes how you look at the world?
