I Set My Worry in Your Hands

jee-a jant sabh saran tumHaaree sarab chint tuDh paasay.
All beings and creatures seek the Protection of Your Sanctuary; all thought of their care rests with You.
ਜੋ ਤੁਧੁ ਭਾਵੈ ਸੋਈ ਚੰਗਾ ਇਕ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੀ ਅਰਦਾਸੇ ॥੪॥੨॥
jo tuDh bhaavai so-ee changa ik naanak kee ardaasay. ||4||2||
That which pleases Your Will is good; this alone is Nanak's prayer. ||4||2||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Every living being takes shelter with You; the worry we carry, we can set down in Your hands.

Nanak says: whatever pleases You is good, and I trust that. This is my one and only prayer.

Trusting the flow of existence lets you set your worry down somewhere it can be held.
The deeper layer

jee-a jant sabh saran tumHaaree: all beings and creatures are in Your shelter. sarab chint tuDh paasay: all their care rests with You. jo tuDh bhaavai so-ee changa: whatever pleases Your Will is good. ik naanak kee ardaasay: this is Nanak's single prayer. Trust in the flow of existence (rajaai / bhaavai) closes the shabad: the deep rest of setting worry down where it can be held.

A Question to Sit With

What is one worry you could practice handing off instead of carrying alone?
