Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa
The Lord of the World has made my mind and body beautiful.
In kindness, God has come to live in the home of my heart.
Welcomed in, the One makes its home in the heart.
At the turning point, the Rahao: mayraa man tan har gopaal suhaa-i-aa — mind and body are made beautiful by the One. Kar kirpaa prabh ghar meh aa-i-aa — by grace, the One has come into the home of the heart. The indwelling (ghat ghat) becomes personal and warm: not a distant presence but one that has moved into the house.
A Question to Sit With
What makes a house feel like a home? What might make your heart feel that way?
