ਸਾਂਤਿ ਪਾਈ ਗੁਰਿ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੇ ॥
saaNt paa-ee gur satgur pooray.
The Guru, the Perfect True Guru, has blessed me with peace and tranquility.
ਸੁਖ ਉਪਜੇ ਬਾਜੇ ਅਨਹਦ ਤੂਰੇ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
sukh upjay baajay anhad tooray. ||1|| rahaa-o.
Peace and joy have welled up, and the mystical trumpets of the unstruck sound current vibrate. ||1||Pause||

The Guru, the perfect True Guru, has given me peace.
Joy has welled up, and the unstruck music plays inside me, music no hand had to start.
When the Guru brings peace, joy rises on its own.
Peace comes from the Guru, and joy follows on its own. Saant paa-ee gur satgur pooray — peace from the Guru, the perfect True Guru; sukh upjay baajay anhad tooray — joy wells up and the anhad trumpets sound. Anhad means unstruck: a harmony made by no hand, heard in deep stillness.
