Come Home, the Waiting Is Over

So come, and dwell in your home and native land; this is such a blessed and auspicious occasion.
ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸੁਪ੍ਰਸੰਨ ਭਏ ਲਹਿ ਗਏ ਬਿਓਗ ॥੨॥੧੦॥੨੮॥
naanak parabh suparsan bha-ay leh ga-ay bi-og. ||2||10||28||
O Nanak, God is totally pleased with you; your time of separation has come to an end. ||2||10||28||

Translation by Dr. Sant Singh Khalsa

In plain words

Come and settle in — be at home, right where you belong; this is a good and lucky moment.

Nanak says: God is well pleased with you, and the long stretch of feeling far away is over now.

The feeling of being far away does not last forever — you are always welcome home.
The deeper layer

Home is waiting, and the time apart is over. Aa-ay bashu ghar days meh — come dwell in your home country; bhalay sanjog — a blessed meeting. Prabh suparsan bha-ay leh ga-ay bi-og — the One is well pleased, and the separation (biog) lifts. A homecoming after long distance.

A Question to Sit With

When have you felt the relief of finally being back where you belong?
