The perfect Guru has given me a deep, easy calm, with joy and peace. God is always my helper, right at my side, and I keep tasting the One's sweet goodness.
Cheers ring out across the world, and everyone wishes me well. The Guru and God are pleased, and nothing blocks my way.
The Guru gives a deep, easy calm, and God stays close as a helper.
Sahj samaaDh anand sookh pooray gur deen — the Perfect Guru has given me sahj samaaDh, bliss and peace. Sahj means natural ease. SamaaDh means being deeply absorbed, like getting lost in a good book. Put together, it is the calm of a heart that has stopped fighting itself.
The next line is the Rahao, the "pause" line at the center: sadaa sahaa-ee sang parabh — the One is always a helper at my side. Then cheers rise all over the world, and everyone wishes you well. Kachh bighan na thee-aa — no bighan, no obstacle, blocks the way. Think of riding a bike downhill with the wind at your back. Nothing is pushing against you.
What does it feel like when everything just seems to flow for you?
